DRAGON BALL Z – Cell (First Form) – Match Makers Figure 2/2 16 cm
See Cell in his first form with this Banpresto figurine from the Match Makers collection. Standing approximately 16 cm tall, it captures the clash between Cell and C-16 (Android 16) during the Cyborgs arc of Dragon Ball Z. This item is part 2/2 of the pair and has been specially designed to be displayed opposite the Match Makers C-16 1/2 figurine, sold separately.
The sculpture depicts Cell in the midst of an attack, his body leaning forward in a particularly dynamic pose. His distinctive First Form appearance is faithfully reproduced, featuring his green carapace covered in black spots, the long protrusions on his skull, the orange patches on his face and abdomen, and his long tail. The low stance of his body and his fist lunging towards his opponent give the whole figure the appearance of a moment taken directly from their battle.
Made from PVC, this figurine is part of the Match Makers range, which pairs two characters in complementary poses to recreate an iconic battle. When paired with the 17 cm Android 16 figurine (EAN 4573102718808), it allows you to recreate the duel between the two fighters before Cell absorbed C-17.

Character origin and lore
Cell is an artificial being created by the supercomputer of Dr Gero, a scientist in the Red Ribbon Army. His composition includes cells from fighters such as Son Goku, Piccolo and Frieza, enabling him to inherit numerous abilities from his biological models. Having travelled from the future via a time machine, he seeks to absorb C-17 and C-18 in order to achieve his perfect form.
In his First Form, Cell faces Piccolo before coming up against C-16. The latter then reveals considerable power and manages to hold his own against Cell, even going so far as to tear off his tail during the fight. However, thanks to Piccolo’s cells integrated into his body, Cell is able to regenerate it.
Cell’s main objective, however, remains C-17. Taking advantage of an opening during the clash, he finally absorbs the cyborg and evolves into his Second Form, whose power far exceeds that of C-16. The Match Makers figurine depicts precisely their duel prior to this transformation, whilst Cell is still in his initial form.
This Match Makers figure is therefore designed as the second half of a complete battle diorama: when placed opposite the corresponding C-16 figure, it recreates one of the most memorable battles from the Cell arc of Dragon Ball Z.
